Yerba Buena Lighthouse Lamp

Built in 1875 on the island in San Francisco Bay from which Yerba Buena gets its name, this unusual lighthouse is only 22 feet high. The main purpose for this lighthouse was to guide ferries across the foggy bay prior to construction of the Bay Bridge. Overall lamp height is 24".
